Exeter Golf and Country Club

Club Details

Exeter Golf and Country Club history at Wear House dates back to 1929. With an 18 hole course designed by the famous James Braid, the Club has flourished during its 81 year history.

The Par 69, 6023 yard golf course is set amongst ancient Oaks, Lime, Redwood and Horse Chestnut trees and with stunning views of Haldon Hill.

With a grass 250m driving range and a large practice putting green, Exeter Golf and Country Club offers the complete golfing package for individuals, groups and society days. We also have the region’s only short game area.

With an on-site PGA Golf Professional, private lessons, teaching studios and a golf shop, everything you need to fulfill your passion for golf is right on site.

The golf membership at Exeter Golf and Country Club is a lively and competitive section of the club, which includes the Ladies, Seniors and of course an active and growing Junior section.
