Ssituated in the picturesque Cooley Peninsula in North Co. Louth, Ireland, on the shores of Carlingford Lough with magnificent views of Slieve Foy Mountain and the Mourne Mountains.
Greenore Golf Club was founded in 1896 and is steeped in interesting golfing history.
Located 100km/60 miles equidistant between Dublin and Belfast main international airports.
The course is just a five minute drive from the beautiful medieval village of Carlingford which offers an abundance of good restaurants and accommodation including the new 4 Star Four Seasons Hotel & Leisure Centre.
Greenore is a magnificent course with a good mix of traditional links and heathland terraine. An excellent test of Golf with challenging but fair approach shots into well manicured links type greens. These are well bunkered with water in play on some holes with spectacular back drops.
Greenore Golf Club is set in a well known golfing area, which takes in links courses such as Royal County Down and Ardglass along with several renowned links and parkland courses in the north east region.
Greenore is an ideal location to use as a base to play golf, with excellent infrastructture in place and is of course set in an area of oustanding natural beauty.
