Royal Deeside Awaits – Celebrating 50 Years

This event has been running since 1975 and regularly attracts over 100 participants to Ballater. A mixture of golf competitions and evening entertainment. Partners are arranged for all golfing events so there is no need to worry about attending on your own, and the friendly staff and club members are always happy to help. Daily tuition is provided by our PGA Professional, Bill Yule.

On your ‘Free Day’ a round of golf at Balmoral Golf Club – a private course on HM The King’s holiday residence, Balmoral Castle, can be arranged for a nominal green fee.

Registration day – join the Ballater members in their weekly sweeper

Join other participants at the Welcome Dinner (cost tba)

Championship 1st Round-Division 1 Strokeplay, Division 2 Stableford

Wednesday 14th May
Free day. Golf at Balmoral if you wish for a nominal green fee

Thursday 15th May
Championship 2nd Round

Friday 16th May
Mixed Greensomes
Longest drive – Nearest the pin – “Tipple at the 13th” before you attempt the “Shot across the River Dee”

Evening – Prize Giving Dinner (cost tba)
